Clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, team support, ongoing education, and a mission that means something.
The Encore Model
Built Around You
Our mobile wound care model was designed so that providers can focus on clinical care, not paperwork, billing, or documentation. We handle the infrastructure so you can do your best work.
Clinical Autonomy

Zero Admin Burden
Our internal team handles all the credentialing, Medicare Part B billing, prior authorizations, and care plan documentation so you can focus on the providing the best care to your patients.
Competitive Pay
We offer competitive compensation that grows with you, rewarding the providers who show up, build relationships, and make a real impact at the facilities they serve.
Team Support
From day one you're backed by peer mentorship, access to senior clinical leadership, and ongoing CE opportunities through the EWCA and third-parties.
Mission-Driven Work
Every visit matters. You're treating patients in long-term care who often go weeks without access to quality wound care, and your work directly changes their healing outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need wound care certification to apply?
Not necessarily. While CWS certification is preferred for wound care NP roles, Encore provides clinical mentorship and supports providers in pursuing certification if they don't yet hold it. Specific requirements vary by role.
How does scheduling work?
You establish a consistent weekly rounding schedule with your assigned facilities. Most providers see patients Monday through Friday with no on-call requirement beyond what's agreed upon at the time of hire.
Who handles billing and credentialing?
Encore handles all Medicare Part B billing, claims management, and facility credentialing. You will never be asked to manage a claim, submit a prior auth, or chase reimbursement.
What kind of support will I have?
Every Encore provider has access to a dedicated clinical liaison, on-call support from senior clinical leadership, and the WoundTracker platform for documentation. You are never on your own.
Is this a 1099 or W-2 position?
We offer both employment (W-2) and independent contractor (1099) arrangements depending on the role and region. Details are discussed during the intro call.
